It's time for another culinary adventure through Salzburg's old town!

We will take you on a journey into the ‘world of exotic culinary delights’ and learn lots of interesting facts about the origin, cultivation, trade, and use of exotic and regionally grown spices... there will be tastings and traditional as well as newly interpreted exotic recipes.

Enjoy a charming horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic center of Salzburg, where baroque facades, narrow lanes, and grand squares bring centuries of history to life. As you pass the magnificent Salzburg Cathedral, you’ll marvel at its stunning architecture and rich history. Here, the legacy of Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau comes alive: a ruler with a deep appreciation for beauty and art, and a true connoisseur at heart. Along the way, fascinating anecdotes and hidden stories add a rich cultural layer to this romantic and unforgettable experience.

Right in the neighborhood, a “meat sommelier” will present us with very special (almost forgotten) delicacies, which we can taste, rediscover, and marvel at.

Afterwards, we will switch to a horse-drawn carriage for a riding dinner experience... and while we enjoy the view from the carriage, we will be served a special aronia drink from Medical Councillor Sporer and a delicious fusion of exotic flavors in exquisite handmade pralines and sweets.

To top it all off, enjoy exotic shiitake mushrooms—not from Japan, but from Obertrum... packaged in a delicious spring bowl at the Humboldtstuben organic restaurant—a culinary fixture in Salzburg's old town when it comes to regional/exotic/seasonal cuisine...
